MENSCHENBILDER 2024/2025 An exhibition of professional photographers from Lower Austria

The “Menschenbilder” project was originally conceived as a solo exhibition, but has since evolved into a traveling exhibition that has expanded beyond the borders of Styria, Caina’s home region, and is now being showcased throughout Austria. The project was initiated in Styria by Christian Jungwirth, with the support of the Styrian Photographers’ Guild and Federal Guild Master Heinz Mitteregger.

Bringing Photography to the People

The “Menschenbilder” exhibition is designed to bring photography closer to the people, without any fear of thresholds. The exhibition is organized by the individual provincial guilds of professional photographers and Atelier Jungwirth in Graz, and is often set up in public squares, where the picture benches serve as both seating furniture and a platform for the captivating portraits.
